I hate money. I hate what the love of it has done to America and to many people I love. I hate that Brent and I never seem to have enough of it! I know what some of you are thinking: quit complaining and go back to work...haha. Never. I'd rather be slightly disadvantaged but at home with my sweet girl. I'd rather eat pinto beans every night and hang dry all my laundry to save energy.
Where is all this animosity welling up from?
I have decided, as a result of my delayed/unconventional vaccination methods combined with my desire for a more homeopathic healthcare lifestyle, that I'd like to take Anne-Kelly to a more holistic pediatrician. The closest one that fits our needs is in Asheville. It's called Family to Family. Potentially problematic, but not enough of a deterrent to keep me from taking her to them. However, they are not in-network for insurance coverage, and this is a major bummer. We have out-of-network coverage after meeting a 1k deductible, but that's a lot of money! Enough to deter my money-managing hubby from us taking her there. However, I feel like you can't put a price on quality health care, especially after the year we've had losing Brent's daddy. It's like a dream to think about having an MD who can not only treat symptoms, but make herbal, dietary, and other recommendations to enhance my child (and my whole family's) overall health.
So I'm at a crossroads. Can you put a price on this sort of thing? What do you guys think?
